Right to Decline Services<\/h2><p data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"1325\">Mariposa Events &amp; Design, LLC reserves the right to decline or discontinue services for any project that, in our professional judgment, is not a good fit based on availability, scope, timing, safety considerations, or alignment with our services and expertise.<\/p><p data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"1325\">Submitting an inquiry or request for services does not guarantee availability or acceptance of a project. Booking, Payments, and Refund Policy<\/h2><h3 data-start=\"2422\" data-end=\"2446\">Booking &amp; Payments<\/h3><p data-start=\"2447\" data-end=\"2619\">To reserve an event date, Mariposa Events &amp; Design, LLC requires a signed agreement and an initial payment, the amount of which is determined by the event\u2019s size and scope.<\/p><p data-start=\"2621\" data-end=\"2701\">Unless otherwise specified in writing, payment typically follows this structure:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2702\" data-end=\"2875\"><li data-start=\"2702\" data-end=\"2762\"><p data-start=\"2704\" data-end=\"2762\">An initial payment due at booking to secure the event date<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2763\" data-end=\"2819\"><p data-start=\"2765\" data-end=\"2819\">One or more additional payments due prior to the event<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2820\" data-end=\"2875\"><p data-start=\"2822\" data-end=\"2875\">Final balance due before setup or installation begins<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2877\" data-end=\"2951\">Failure to make payments as agreed may result in cancellation of services.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"2953\" data-end=\"2982\">Cancellations by Client<\/h3><p data-start=\"2983\" data-end=\"3145\">We understand that plans may change. Cancellations are handled fairly and in good faith, taking into account costs already incurred, including but not limited to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3146\" data-end=\"3230\"><li data-start=\"3146\" data-end=\"3159\"><p data-start=\"3148\" data-end=\"3159\">Design time<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3160\" data-end=\"3190\"><p data-start=\"3162\" data-end=\"3190\">Sourcing or purchasing d\u00e9cor<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3191\" data-end=\"3211\"><p data-start=\"3193\" data-end=\"3211\">Rental commitments<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3212\" data-end=\"3230\"><p data-start=\"3214\" data-end=\"3230\">Labor scheduling<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3232\" data-end=\"3358\">Refunds, partial refunds, or credits (if any) are determined based on the timing of cancellation and non-recoverable expenses.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"3360\" data-end=\"3378\">Rescheduling<\/h3><p data-start=\"3379\" data-end=\"3602\">Rescheduling requests must be made as soon as possible and are subject to availability.<br data-start=\"3466\" data-end=\"3469\" \/>Payments made may be applied to a new date within <strong data-start=\"3519\" data-end=\"3537\">six (6) months<\/strong>, provided the new date is available. Additional costs may apply.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"3604\" data-end=\"3635\">Cancellations by Mariposa<\/h3><p data-start=\"3636\" data-end=\"3950\">If we must cancel for reasons within our control, all payments made will be refunded in full.<br data-start=\"3729\" data-end=\"3732\" \/>If cancellation results from circumstances beyond our control (see Force Majeure), we will work in good faith to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, refunds will exclude non-recoverable costs already incurred.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3952\" data-end=\"3955\" \/><h2 data-start=\"3957\" data-end=\"4000\">6. Event Changes and Scope Adjustments<\/h2><p data-start=\"4001\" data-end=\"4103\">Any changes to event scope, design direction, venue access, or timeline must be communicated promptly.<\/p><p data-start=\"4105\" data-end=\"4122\">Late changes may:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4123\" data-end=\"4217\"><li data-start=\"4123\" data-end=\"4139\"><p data-start=\"4125\" data-end=\"4139\">Increase costs<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4140\" data-end=\"4166\"><p data-start=\"4142\" data-end=\"4166\">Require additional labor<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4167\" data-end=\"4194\"><p data-start=\"4169\" data-end=\"4194\">Limit design availability<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4195\" data-end=\"4217\"><p data-start=\"4197\" data-end=\"4217\">Affect final results<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4219\" data-end=\"4314\">We are not responsible for compromises caused by last-minute changes or incomplete information.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4316\" data-end=\"4319\" \/><h2 data-start=\"4321\" data-end=\"4352\">7. Client Responsibilities<\/h2><p data-start=\"4353\" data-end=\"4366\">You agree to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4368\" data-end=\"4697\"><li data-start=\"4368\" data-end=\"4449\"><p data-start=\"4370\" data-end=\"4449\">Provide accurate event details, including venue access times and restrictions<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4450\" data-end=\"4515\"><p data-start=\"4452\" data-end=\"4515\">Obtain all required venue approvals, permits, and permissions<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4516\" data-end=\"4567\"><p data-start=\"4518\" data-end=\"4567\">Ensure reasonable access for setup and teardown<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4568\" data-end=\"4641\"><p data-start=\"4570\" data-end=\"4641\">Inform us of any venue rules, restrictions, or limitations in advance<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4642\" data-end=\"4697\"><p data-start=\"4644\" data-end=\"4697\">Be responsible for guests\u2019 conduct during the event<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4699\" data-end=\"4868\">You are also responsible for <strong data-start=\"4728\" data-end=\"4817\">any damage to d\u00e9cor, property, or equipment caused by guests, vendors, or venue staff<\/strong>, excluding damage caused solely by our negligence.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4870\" data-end=\"4873\" \/><h2 data-start=\"4875\" data-end=\"4912\">8. Venue and Third-Party Vendors<\/h2><p data-start=\"4913\" data-end=\"5101\">Mariposa Events &amp; Design, LLC is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or performance of third-party vendors or venues, whether hired directly by you or recommended by us as a courtesy.<\/p><p data-start=\"5103\" data-end=\"5141\">This includes (but is not limited to):<\/p><ul data-start=\"5142\" data-end=\"5233\"><li data-start=\"5142\" data-end=\"5150\"><p data-start=\"5144\" data-end=\"5150\">Venues<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"5151\" data-end=\"5169\"><p data-start=\"5153\" data-end=\"5169\">Rental companies<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"5170\" data-end=\"5180\"><p data-start=\"5172\" data-end=\"5180\">Florists<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"5181\" data-end=\"5191\"><p data-start=\"5183\" data-end=\"5191\">Planners<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"5192\" data-end=\"5207\"><p data-start=\"5194\" data-end=\"5207\">Photographers<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"5208\" data-end=\"5233\"><p data-start=\"5210\" data-end=\"5233\">Entertainment providers<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"5235\" data-end=\"5382\">We do not supervise or control third-party personnel and assume no liability for their actions, negligence, or compliance with laws or venue rules.<\/p><p data-start=\"5384\" data-end=\"5521\">You agree to hold Mariposa Events &amp; Design, LLC harmless from claims arising from third-party or venue-related issues beyond our control.<\/p><hr data-start=\"5523\" data-end=\"5526\" \/><h2 data-start=\"5528\" data-end=\"5571\">9.
