Hi, I’m Diana—founder of Mariposa Events & Design. I create beautifully styled event spaces that feel meaningful and well cared for, without the stress of managing every detail on your own.
As a Latina and a Catholic, I bring a deep appreciation for the meaning behind weddings, quinceañeras, and family celebrations. These events are about more than décor—they’re about faith, tradition, love, and the people who come together to honor them. I approach every event with respect for those values and the responsibility that comes with creating meaningful spaces.
I work comfortably in both English and Spanish, and I’m proud to serve a large Spanish-speaking community. Clear, thoughtful communication is essential when planning meaningful events, and I make sure my clients feel understood, supported, and at ease throughout the entire process—regardless of language.
I love creating spaces that reflect the heart of the celebration. Whether it’s an intimate family gathering or a meaningful milestone event, my designs are intentional, welcoming, and thoughtfully suited to the occasion. I provide full-service wedding and event design—including planning, styling, setup, and teardown—so my clients can be fully present with the people they love. My work is guided by timeless design principles and traditional wedding etiquette, with inspiration drawn from trusted resources such as For Your Marriage.
For me, this work is as much about service as it is about design. Celebrations should feel joyful and unhurried, and beauty is something meant to be shared.
